Canadian Bulldog's World would like to thank WWE Hall of Famer "Mean" Gene Okerlund for the outstanding endorsement above. And hey, since you're already here.... what, exactly, is Canadian Bulldog's World, anyways?
Canadian Bulldog has been writing about wrestling since 2002 for a variety of prominent websites and has written two books that take a humorous look at the ring. When he set out to create a new venture in late-2013, he wanted to reinforce the idea that wrestling should be fun! You can criticize the business elsewhere, but while you're here, you need to be a wrestling fan. Some of the things we've focused on since March 2014:
Top 50 - From the Top 50 Hulk Hogan Rivalries to the Top 50 Dream Matches That Actually Happened, we compile thought-provoking and argument-generating lists every single week.
Action Figures - Whether you played with them as a kid or collect them now, you know that they're not wrestling "dolls". And to pay homage to the series of rubber figures that were super-popular in the 80's, we add a new member to the (prestigious) Canadian Bulldog's World LJN Wrestling Figure Hall of Fame every month.
Trading Cards - Whether they're vintage sets from the rock and wrestling era or something more obscure, Canadian Bulldog's World breaks them down for you.
Magazines - With the recent demise of WWE Magazine, it's hard to believe that magazines such as Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Wrestling Eye were once staples of the business. Canadian Bulldog's World pays tribute to them with Magazine Of The Month.
Comic Books - Whether you preferred BattleMania and Marvel's WCW Comics or the current WWE Superstars, we've got them reviewed.
Bulldog's Bookshelf - Canadian Bulldog has read a healthy chunk of the wrestling biographies and books out there and has reviewed nearly 50 of them with his own unique ratings system.
Bulldog's DVD Rack - More than 75 reviews and previewed and reviewed, giving you the scoop on releases before you buy them.
ZAH - Veteran columnist ZAH gives his weekly thoughts on both the wrestling industry, never holding anything back.
Mike Rickard - A wrestling historian, Mike Rickard looks at everything from The Enduring Legacy Of Hulk Hogan to the territory system to give you a unique perspective.
The Big Rybowski - Longtime wrestling fan The Big Rybowski goes through his massive collection of ticket stubs each week and gives memories to accompany each event.
Canadian Bulldog's World Radio - A short, fun and timely podcast that talks about some of the most interesting aspects of the business.
We also interview wrestling industry folks from time to time (including journalist Bill Apter and manager Stu Stone) and always come up with unique analysis of the business. So please visit frequently and give us your feedback - the best is truly yet to come.
