With The Biggest Party Of The Summer coming up in mere days, Canadian Bulldog and the CBW staff writers (ZAH, Mike Rickard, The Big Rybowski and Adam Zimmerman) make their predictions for SummerSlam 2017!

ZAH: The hype around this match is the most I’ve seen in quite some time. WWE has had some fantastic in-ring chemistry between Lesnar and Joe, Reigns and Joe, Reigns and Lesnar, and Reigns and Strowman; all of which have helped to build the anticipation for this match. I honestly think this has the potential to be a MOTY candidate if booked correctly and given enough time. In the end, though, I think Lesnar’s still going to hold onto that title until being dethroned at WrestleMania. WINNER: BROCK LESNAR

Adam Zimmerman: This one is interesting because Paul Heyman has stated that he and Lesnar will leave the WWE if Lesnar loses this match. Normally, that would make Brock a favorite to win. I've heard rumors of Lesnar making another (probably brief) UFC run, though, so that could mean that Lesnar could lose this and leave to focus on UFC for a bit and then return to the WWE through a future storyline. I mean, there's been "loser leaves town" matches for as long as anyone can remember and the loser has rarely, if ever, permanently "left town". I'm going to say that Lesnar is going to lose this one and Samoa Joe will get the victory. WINNER: SAMOA JOE

Mike Rickard: I can only hope the WWE takes the belt off the part-time Brock. I don’t think Braun needs the belt (although I would have liked to have seen him go over Brock one-on-one to give Strowman a strong rub). Hopefully Samoa Joe gets the win and the belt. WINNER: SAMOA JOE

The Big Rybowski: This is one of the hardest events in recent memory to predict. I honestly believe that any of these matches can finish a number of different ways. The main event is quite possibly the match that I'm struggle most with picking a winner. Rumors of Brock leaving after SummerSlam have been played up by announcing that he would leave the WWE if he loses. To me, that seems like more of a way to fuel the rumours than an exit strategy for Brock. I'm trying to figure out where we go from here, and I'm guessing Brian/Lesnar and Reigns/Joe is the most logical direction. That said, the easiest way to lead in to that is by having Lesnar retain with Strowman coming out looking strong. WINNER: BROCK LESNAR

Canadian Bulldog: Literally any of these four guys could potentially end SummerSlam as Universal Champion. Part of me wants to pick Brock Lesnar, if for no other reason than the stipulation of him leaving WWE ending up being a red herring to boost interest. But I really think that Samoa Joe winning makes the most sense in this scenario: he's a new face who has already proven he can hang in the main event, plus future challengers to Joe as Universal Champion would make for a nice change of pace. WINNER: SAMOA JOE
